How it works
Register
Join as a captain or team member
Raise Money
Make a donation and/or raise money through your fundraising page. You do not have to fundraise to participate–but if you do, you'll be eligible to win some great prizes!
Play
Join us for a fun 3 vs. 3 basketball tournament with prizes, food and more!
Step 1: Captains create teams
1. Go here and click “Create Team” (top right)
2. Enter team and captain information
3. Due to a glitch in the system, when prompted to donate today, leave it at $0. You can return later to make a donation.
4. Click "Create Your Team"
Thank you! Now you can invite team members to join and friends and family to support you with a donation!
Step 2: Players join teams and/or knockout tournament
Once your captain has created your team:
1. Go here and click "Join a Team" (center of page)
2. From the list, select your team and click “Join Us,” or click "Individual Signup" for knockout. Enter your information
3. To register, either:

Donate $10 or

Send 5 emails to friends and family to ask for support and spread awareness of the B+ Foundation (please copy chathambepositivebb@gmail.com)
4. Click "Register"

TOURNAMENT
How competitive is it?
This is a FUN 3 v 3 basketball tournament and knockout tournament (new this year!) for charity. It is planned, organized and refereed by high school students of the Chatham B+ Club. We invite kids of all levels to join us.
What are the age groups?
Rising 5th - 8th graders.
There will be girls and boys and age brackets.
What do I need to bring?
Basketball, drinks, sunblock and team pinnies or color-coordinated jerseys.
Where can I buy a Hoops for Hope T-shirt?
Stay tuned for more information to order online. We will have some available at the event for purchase. Proceeds go to B+ Foundation.
Will there be food and drinks?
Yes, there will be snacks and drinks for sale.
Can friends and family watch?
Yes, the more fans the better! Bring your chairs and cheer on your team.
How will I get updates about the tourney structure and event?
Follow us on Instagram and Facebook. We will also send out emails the week of the event.
REGISTRATION
How do I register?
To register, assign a team captain to create a fundraising page. Then each team member can join the team fundraising page. See below for cost/fundraise. Knockout tournament players register via the Individual Signup button.

Do I need to fundraise to participate?
No, you do not, but you do need to create a fundraising page. Each 3 v 3 or knockout tournament player donates $10 OR sends 5 emails to friends and family with a link to their fundraising page to spread awareness and ask for support (copying chathambepositivebb@gmail.com). If you choose to fundraise, you'll be supporting a good cause and be eligible for fundraising prizes.
Where does the money go?
100% of the money we raise goes to the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation, the largest provider of financial assistance to families of kids with cancer in the US. It is an IRS 501(c)3 registered organization. Learn more
